# CDXXXII…More Concert Memories…and an Odd Prediction?…

It has come to my attention that today, October 22nd, happens to be the birthday of an old friend of mine that evokes my memory of the night that he and I met up with each other at the Sonata Arctica, Delain and Xandria show in September of 2014.  I had met the band (as evident on my profile on Twitter) but had to leave the venue due to time constraints…an unfortunate event because I enjoy their music but, que sera sera.

Anyways, I noticed from looking at my book today, that this year’s baseball playoffs have provided me with fodder for this post…as the entry in the book was written last year, if memory serves…and I will let you be the judges…

# clx…”Back to the” Birthday…

For today’s birthday twins, October 22nd is also the date that veteran comedian/actor Christopher Lloyd (1938) celebrates his arrival on this planet.  For the people who have trouble recognizing this iconic name, he (of course) played ‘Doc Brown’ in the very funny and popular “Back To The Future” movies that have been in the news recently, due to the fact that “October 21, 2015” (which just passed in real-time) was involved in the second and third movies.

He has a resume that has been padding itself since 1972, with roles in such classic fare as the old TV sitcom “Taxi” and movies like “The Addams Family” and “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”.  He’s also had roles in “Star Trek III: The Search for Spock”, “Angels in the Outfield” and the Mel Brooks’ classic “To Be or Not To Be”…not too shabby for an award-winning 40 plus year career.

Also celebrating today are/were; late Three Stooges co-star Curly Howard (1903-1952), late psychologist Timothy Leary (1920-1996), veteran actor Tony Roberts (1939), late Mouseketeer Annette Funicello (1942-2013), former Mountain vocalist/guitarist Leslie West (1945), Indian author/public speaker Deepak Chopra (1946) and veteran actor Jeff Goldblum was born in 1952.

Figure skating champion Brian Boitano (1963), Jamaican rapper Shaggy (1968), actor/director Spike Jonze (1969), former wrestling star D’Lo Brown (1972), baseball stars Ichiro Suzuki (1973) and Robinson Cano (1982), Hanson drummer Zac Hanson (1985) and former child actor Jonathan Lipnicki was born in 1990.

Until we get fully-functioning hoverboards and self-drying jackets…and the Cubs win the World Series…
