# CCCI…”Where No One Has Gone Before”…

Today’s post would have celebrated the 84th birthday of one of the most prolific icons in science fiction history, Leonard Nimoy (1931-2015).  Instead, we are all wishing him a happy birthday in the afterlife, which is alright considering the man’s legacy speaks for itself.

In his sixty-plus year career, “Spock”…er, Mr. Nimoy has done everything from acting to writing, including photography and especially his voice-over work, specifically hearing him as the voice of Galvatron, the replacement villain for Megatron in the 1986 movie, The Transformers: The Movie.

A beloved icon whose iconic presence will forever be missed…

Among the list for this date; actor Alan Arkin (1934), actor James Caan (1940), U.S. Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (1940), author Erica Jong (1942), all-time diva icon Diana Ross (1944), Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler (1948) and comedienne/singer Vicki Lawrence was born in 1949.

Continuing the list are late R&B icon Teddy Pendergrass (1950-2010), comedian/actor Martin Short (1950), Guardian Angels’ founder Curtis Sliwa (1954), diminutive actress Jennifer Grey (Dirty Dancing‘s “Baby”) was born in 1960, actor Michael Imperioli (1966), country star Kenny Chesney (1968), actress Amy Smart (1976) and actress Keira Knightley was born in 1985.
